This review is for the Naki Travel Kit for the Nintendo DS Lite. If it had one more zip-pocket for the console, I'd be happy. Also, I wish the strap/screen-cleaner/single-game-cartridge-holder thingy was black instead of white. The stylus extender in particular is nice and feels comfortable. So, after this purchase, I still have to buy separate screen protectors, another wrist strap, and a bigger case to hold everything. (We bought other screen protectors based on the advice of another reviewer). All the accessories that came with it are fine and seem to be of good quality -- we have used all of them except the screen protectors and all was OK. (I do leave the car-charger in the car's glove-box rather than in this carry-case, but that still does not open up enough room).
However, the case is pretty much worthless -- you have to choose whether you want to carry the DS Lite console in it, or the white case that holds the game cartridges; it will hold one or the other (with other accessories) but not both. I was wanting a true "travel bag" that would hold ALL the DS Lite stuff in one place -- this bag doesn't get it done. The white looks kinda dumb with the crimson DS Lite (and I imagine it would also look bad with the cobalt) plus it will get dirty really fast and look nasty. Not such a great deal.
I reviewed many other offerings in cases and accessories and decided on this one as the best buy. Bought this for my 7 year old grandson along with the Nintendo DS Lite. The case and accessories are perfect for storage and protection. We used the screen protectors right away, attached the wrist strap - perfect for a child - and put his games in the netted slots in the case along with the car charger,ac charger and the comfort stylus. Other reviews had concerns about what the case can hold; it obviously can't hold everything shown but it certainly holds everything necessary and the quality is great.
Not very small. I don't understand why everyone keeps saying that the travel bag in this kit is too small. Anyways this kit is great. I definitely don't think its small seeing as how it can it be tiny if it can fit : my mmd (max media dock), my internet browser, an extra cf card for my mmd,the small plastic game holder case (the one with the screen cleaner attached)4 styli,my rumble pak, my ndsl, and all of my other games (11 of them). Yeah. I love the big stylus, the headphones, and the car charger.This is the ultimate travel kit. TimR's son, -Jared :)
Got this for a trip for my sons (4) DS. The DS and most accessories fit well. I don't think the car plug and the larger game holder would fit in the actual case, but the pen like stylus holder (big plus with a 4 year old), the single game holder and the DS' power cord all fit. I alos like the fact that the DS itself has its own compartment so the other stuff isn't rubbing on it.
Has a lot for my DS. I wish that it came in more colors than just a black case. Seems to work alright.
